The local park has been open with playgrounds and picnic shelters closed. Fewer kids is great, but not under deadly circumstances. Anyway, here is Freddie 1 with Rikki Blackstone sitting on a seperate picnic table on a cool and cloudy May afternoon. 

Due to depression, I hadn't been out of the house since January 10, 2020. I was in quarantine 8 weeks before Governor mandated stay at home order. After 12 weeks, I felt well enough for a drive with some of the Funkonovos. 

We had a surprise on Tuesday night. An unexpected package arrived and what was inside?  ANOTHER FREDDIE!  I didn't order another one, nor was there an invoice. I'm keeping him. I found a lily of the valley stalk and the Freddie twins thought it would make for a twin geisha photo. They are putting my scrunchies to good use. ❤❤ Enjoy the adventures of the Funkonovo family? Meet Sundance Kidd. He is technically "Phil Collen" of Def Leppard.  Sundance is hearing impared and feels a bit insecure having a disability. However, Sunny has a gift, the ability to hear extremely high pitched sounds. He plays guitar in those high ranges.  He signs a little and speaks, but squeaking is his preferred mode of communication.

The Funkonovo family finally got a home! Freddie sings a lullaby as everyone settles in for the night. Home of the Funkonovo family!  Easy set up and under 20.00 (US). The boys don't care if it is pink. Arthur has his piano and there's a candle, chair and pad to chillax (bag tent came in with an old dish cloth inserted for cushioning). Meet Fredward.On Instagram, Queen Funko accounts give all the love sharing charming little stories of their mini Queenies.Some are even custom made(Love the older Brians). While a casual Queen fan, (I have the 3 CD Greatest Hits box set) I am over the moon with their minis. I have a John Deacon I named Rikki Blackstone (John's middle name+the ring on his finger) and a recently acquired 70s Freddie I named Fredward (remember the Goldberg's episode with Freddy Kruger?) I want them to be their unique selves, not carbon copies of their maxis. I paid less than 15.00 for Freddie Mercury Funkopop on Amazon.  I will post some IG stories in upcoming posts.
